Amber Lakes Wedding Photography: Where we’re going, we don’t need roads…

Here is Dalia and Sam’s special day… what made it special for them was probably not just the venue Amber Lakes which was not only spectacular but also a god-send on what must have been the hottest day of the year, but actually the insane amount of love they were shown by their guests. Dalia and Sam are first and foremost humans who have very strong principles when it comes to human welfare, kindness and doing “your bit”. Both of them work towards “the bigger picture” in one way or another, and the way they treat their friends is no different, with sustained commitment, love and loyalty. And that’s probably why so many of them wanted to say something during the speech session, but also why the content of each of the speeches was so authentic, poignant and heartfelt. There was indeed a ridiculous amount of love in that room.

What made is special for me was of course the above, no doubt. I love a good speech. It makes me learn tons about my couples as human beings and it also often gives me food for thought in a variety of ways. The way us humans all can live such different lives… but in the end, we are all the same. We all get moved by the same: tenderness, love, kindness, humour and connections. What absolutely made it even more super special for me (going from the sublime to the ridiculous) is the appearance of a DeLorean, from one of my most favourite films ever.

So here are a few photos from the day. Hope you like them. As usual, my style follows how I shoot street photography. I get up close with my widest lens, I get in the crowd, try to become invisible whilst simultaneously connect with all those around me. Life, is after all, worth living because of the connections we make.
