Cecil Sharp House Wedding Photography: when everything clicks…

What an absolute joy it was to shoot this wedding back in May. I spent 10 hours with Tim, Alice and their guests and the opportunities for great frames were never-ending. Why? It’s very simple: shed loads of people being themselves, having a great laugh whilst also making the most of being together, displaying lots of affection and tenderness towards one another…

This wedding probably is an excellent example of the kind of work I can produce when a couple lets go… and when I mean “lets go”… is when they, as human being, totally embrace who they are and revel in their own authenticity. I knew I could go with my creative flow to create the best possible compositions because I felt completely entrusted. I used all my street photography skills to create wide frames with multiple stories. The reason behind this approach is that I want to leave you yes with stunning stand alone images you can hang on your walls, but I also want to produce images that make you see what it was like to be one of your guests. Because that’s what takes you back to those feelings of togetherness.

So here is Tim and Alice… on their wedding day at Cecil Sharp House…If you are planning to get married at this venue, please get in touch. I adored photographing there… and it’s also a stone’s throw away from a gorgeous little pub which made for brilliant candid couple portraits later in the day at golden hour.
