Fitzroy Kimpton London Wedding Photography: two worlds merging…
Having lived in three different countries and speaking various languages, I feel right at home in London, one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities. So photographing a wedding where two vastly different cultures are united in the same room is genuinely one of my very many happy places.
Below is Gemma and Shervin’s big day…
As you can see I like to tell the story of a wedding by celebrating all the small but very significant moments throughout the 10 hours I spend with my couples. Prep time is valuable to cover because you spend an intense few hours with your life long friends, living moments you’ll never again live together for the rest of your life. Same goes for that quick drink the groom often has with his closest mates. The calm before the storm.
As for the venue, the staff could not do more to ensure all your needs are met on the day. They treat wedding suppliers very well and that’s always a very good sign… it shows professionalism throughout their practice…
Russell Square is also opposite the hotel which means we can escape the madness of the wedding crowds for half an hour or so, to go and get some relaxed couple portraits. My sessions with couples are always very straight forward and quick. I get booked by people who are not keen to spend a huge amount of time in front of the camera and my strength is in focusing on candid moments that celebrate relationships.
If you are looking for a relaxed photographing style that focuses on emotions, then we might be a good fit! Just a heads up that I have 5 wedding dates left available for 2025 so do get in touch soon if you are planning a wedding for next year.
