Chelsea Old Townhall Wedding Photography: when Scotland and Italy come together…
Well this is what happens when a smug Scottish man and an ecstatic Italian lady tie the knot… a packed couple of hours full of emotion and wonderful banter. By the time I had left this couple, I felt like I had known them all my life.
So a short and sweet blog post this week. I wanted to share with you a few images from my most recent wedding at Chelsea Old Townhall in London, one of my favourite registry offices in town. Why? Well, because the area is obviously very London-esque, retaining plenty of original features of old London whilst also boasting all the dynamics of the capital.
I don’t mind saying that I do love a micro wedding - I spend just a few hours with the bride and groom with a select few guests and this makes a truly wonderful, warm and authentic atmosphere. Two hours on a Monday is all that was needed to capture Giorgia and Gregory’s “little big day”.
We started at the Lime Tree Hotel, took a cab together to Chelsea Old Town Hall Registry office, met their guests there, took 30 mins to say “I do”, with a few more snaps on the legendary steps outside of the townhall. Our quick escape was rounded off by a return to the hotel and a glass of champagne.
If you are looking to get married in the capital and are looking for a photographer for just a few hours, but also need someone who is relaxed and loves original composition, we might be a good fit.
